To the editor,
Caryn Tyson and Jeff King both came to the Kansas State Senate about the same time. Both supported Governor Brownback in his ill-advised tax cuts. Senator King had the good judgement to recognize the problems that have been heaped on our state due to the tax cuts and he has withdrawn from the Senate. He will not run again.
On the other hand, Tyson apparently has no misgivings about her part in the scheme. Caryn Tyson should also withdraw as a candidate. That would be the right thing to do.
We still have Carla Griffith as a write-in for the Senate position.
